Depending on the service you are scheduling and your individual health plan, you may be able to use insurance benefits or choose a self-pay option.
Mama Babe provides lactation, prenatal and postpartum nutrition, and fitness services with Kinsey Gilmore, MS, LD/N, IBCLC, with office locations in Marianna, Florida and Dothan, Alabama, along with virtual options for select services.

Your health insurance may provide benefits for lactation services. Coverage depends on your individual plan, benefits, eligibility, and the services provided.
Mama Babe works with select commercial insurance plans for eligible lactation services.
Before your appointment, we can help determine whether your insurance may be used for your visit. Verification of benefits is not a guarantee that your insurance company will pay a claim, and any applicable patient responsibility is determined according to your individual plan.

You are still able to receive care.
For eligible self-pay lactation services, Mama Babe can provide a superbill upon request. A superbill is an itemized document you can submit to your commercial insurance company to request possible out-of-network reimbursement.
Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.
Superbills may not apply to every patient or type of coverage.

Mama Babe Lactation & Wellness offers insurance and self-pay options for care with Kinsey Gilmore, MS, IBCLC, LD/N. Coverage varies by service and individual insurance plan.
Lactation
Personalized lactation care from pregnancy through postpartum and beyond. Visits may include prenatal breastfeeding preparation, latch and positioning support, milk supply concerns, pumping and flange fit, bottle feeding, combination feeding, returning to work, feeding transitions, and weaning.
Insurance: Mama Babe works with select insurance plans for eligible lactation services. Coverage and benefits vary by individual plan.
Self-Pay: Self-pay is available for families who are uninsured, do not have applicable benefits, are out-of-network, or prefer not to use insurance. A superbill may be available upon request for eligible services.
Individualized prenatal and postpartum nutrition counseling focused on fueling mom through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, lactation, and the everyday demands of motherhood.
Nutrition support is tailored to your individual needs, lifestyle, and goals, with an emphasis on practical and sustainable strategies.
Self-Pay: Nutrition consultations are also available as a self-pay service.
